About Us

Way back in 2000 we heard of ‘Flicks in the Sticks’ and the work they were doing bringing cinema to rural areas. We got in touch with them on 01588_620883 and in December 2000 we had our premiere showing of ‘Chicken Run’ to a full house. Since then we have never looked back!

Apart from a brief spell in Summer 2002 when grants dried up, we have shown a film at least once a month since we started.

In September 2003 we launched an additional showing at 2:30pm on the 3rd Wednesday of every month, to supplement our regular slot of 7:00pm on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Unfortunately attendance has been too low for this new venture to keep going and we have had to abandon it!
